I have had a lifelong interest in health, nutrition and fitness. I discovered Pilates in 2009 when my search for help for chronic low back pain led me to regular 5:30am Pilates mat classes prior to starting my day as a City Planner in Oregon.
I was so impressed with the results that I enrolled in the rigorous Body Arts and Science International (BASI) Pilates teacher training program (mat and full equipment) which I completed in Portland, Oregon USA concurrent with a certification in Nutritional Therapy.
I have been teaching Pilates to a wide range of bodies and goals since 2012 in addition to running a Chinese Medicine practice since 2023. I believe that Pilates is medicine too. I continue my Pilates studies through weekly Classical Pilates instruction.
My classes are dynamic and structured around a full body workout with a focus on strength building and spine health and are constantly evolving. I look forward to helping you discover the many joys and benefits of Pilates.
